چکیده
This paper describes an experimental investigation into the influence of beam reinforcement detailing, column axial load and shear on joint strength reinforced concrete external beam-column connections. A series twelve specimens were tested in three groups four specimens. Series 1 investigated anchorage type bend radius. 2 studied while 3 intermediate bars reinforcement. The presents results considered variables strength. Three existing empirical design equations for are evaluated using data from this program previously Finally, recommendations made.

Full Scale Reinforced Concrete Beam-Column Joints Strengthened with Steel Reinforced Polymer Systems
This paper presents the results of an experimental campaign performed at the Laboratory of Materials and Structural Testing of the University of Salerno (Italy) in order to investigate the seismic performance of reinforced concrete (RC) beam-column joints strengthened with steel reinforced polymer (SRP) systems. With the aim to represent typical façade frames’ beam-column subassemblies found in...
متن کاملAN OPTIMIZATION PROCEDURE FOR CONCRETE BEAM-COLUMN JOINTS STRENGTHENED WITH FRP
This paper illustrates an optimization procedure of concrete beam-column joints subjected to shear that are strengthened with fiber reinforced polymer (FRP). For this aim, five different values have been considered for length, width and thickness of the FRP sheets which created 125 different models to strengthen of concrete beam-column joints. However, by using response surface methodology (RSM...

This paper presents the performance-based optimization of strut-and-tie models in reinforced concrete beam-column connections. The performance-based optimization (PBO) technique is employed to investigate optimal strut-and-tie models in reinforced concrete beam-column connections. Developing strut-and-tie models in reinforced concrete beam-column connections is treated as a topology optimizatio...
متن کاملNonlinear Earthquake Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Frames with Fiber and Bernoulli-Euler Beam-Column Element
A beam-column element based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory is researched for nonlinear dynamic analysis of reinforced concrete (RC) structural element. Stiffness matrix of this element is obtained by using rigidity method. A solution technique that included nonlinear dynamic substructure procedure is developed for dynamic analyses of RC frames. A predicted-corrected form of the Bossak-α met...
